Aaron is a private equity and corporate finance professional with over 23 years of experience in infrastructure private equity, investment banking and infrastructure fund operations and administration. Aaron holds a senior leadership role at Argo Infrastructure Partners and is a member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Argo in 2013, Aaron served as a Principal at Carlyle Infrastructure Partners, The Carlyle Group’s $1.1 billion global infrastructure fund. In this role, he led the team’s efforts to originate, structure and negotiate acquisitions, financings and public-private partnerships in energy (power generation, pipelines, storage/terminals), transportation (seaports, rail, intermodal, parking, roads) and water and waste management globally. Prior to joining Carlyle, Aaron was a Managing Director at Highstar Capital, an infrastructure private equity firm managing over $4.7 billion. During his ten years at Highstar, he originated, structured, and negotiated acquisitions, financings and divestitures in energy, such as Highstar’s successful investment in Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, as well as transportation (logistics, toll systems, asset-tracking technologies, seaports, airports) and water and waste management investments, principally in North America. He has served on several boards, held an interim CFO position at a Highstar portfolio company and, alongside his investment responsibilities, was Highstar’s Chief Administrative Officer during the final two years of his tenure.

Prior to Highstar, Aaron was a Director of Corporate Development at Primedia Corporation’s online subsidiary, an M&A Associate at Patricof & Co. Capital and an Analyst at Bear Stearns.

Aaron holds an AB in Politics from Princeton University and an MBA from New York University.

For more than three years, Chad Rosen has led the growth of Victory Hemp as founder and CEO and worked as an advocate industry-wide within the U.S. hemp grain supply chain and market. He has initiated product development, manufacturing and products to market to date. Prior to founding Victory Hemp, Chad was VP of Vetrazzo recycled glass surfaces, an eventual division of Polycor North America. He is the recent past president of the Kentucky Hemp Industries Association (KYHIA) and an active member of the Organic Association of Kentucky (OAK). He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Marquette University and completed additional business course work at the University of New Mexico’s Anderson College of Business as well as the University of New Castle (Australia).

David Russell heads the Responsible Investment (RI) Team of USS Investment Management, the fund manager for Universities Superannuation Scheme, where he has worked since 2001. USS is one of the largest pension funds in the United Kingdom, with assets in excess of £68 billion and over 350,000 members. USS has a RI team of five and a RI strategy which focuses on integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into its investment processes across asset classes (including private assets), and on engaging with public equities and other assets where these issues pose a risk to the fund’s investments.

David is a former Board member of the PRI Association and is an advisor to the Board of the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC), which USS set up in 2001. He is also on the Board of the International Centre for Pensions Management. David was involved in the establishment of the PRI Private Equity Advisory Committee of which he has twice been a member, and was also an inaugural member of the BVCA RI Advisory Board. David has previously worked as an Environmental Manager for a UK retail company, and was for five years a University lecturer in Environmental Management. He has a Masters Degree in Environmental Impact Assessment.
